This wide-ranging group of songs reflect the work of The Wrecking Crew, legendary session musicians who backed some of the most important recording artists—including the Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher, the Righteous Brothers and many others. Three CD’s are filled with hits and interviews; the fourth is called The Crew Cuts, filled with songs cut under the musicians’ own names.

The story of session musicians, their instruments and their important contribution to 20th century recorded music is told in MIM’s Los Angeles exhibit in the United States/Canada Gallery.
