My First Ballet will immerse children in a world of beautiful music paired with imaginative scenes depicting the classics of ballet. In this lovely story the reader follows a little girl and boy as they travel around their neighborhood, which has magically become the Land of Ballet. On each page, different animals perform scenes from famous ballets such as Peter Pan, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, and Swan Lake.
The story is written by Elizabeth Pen and illustrated by Alenka Vuk Trotovsek. Each song is licensed from a world-famous orchestra and plays for 20 to 40 seconds. The crisp, clean sound comes from a well-placed speaker, and small fingers can easily activate the small sensors on each page.
Easy-turn pages have rounded corners to protect little ones. An on/off switch helps preserve the battery. ASTM inspected and certified. Includes two AAA batteries.
