These Japanese bells are created using traditional casting techniques that date back to over four hundred years in the Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. Since 1916, Takaoka-based manufacturer, Nousaku, has been using these techniques to create modern pieces.

The bells are hand-turned on a lathe until completely smooth, giving them a tranquil sound digital bells can’t replicate. Their three distinct shapes (slim, horn and onion), gives each bell a unique timbre and delicate tone. Equally beautiful in sound and appearance, these bells are designed to use for mediation or as dinner bells--they also make lovely paperweights.

Approximately 4.75 x 1.5 inches

Colors: Horn Bell
