These striking ocarinas are both decorative and functional instruments. They are based on traditional clay flutes of the Andes. Each is carefully tuned before firing and includes instructions and a cord necklace. The ocarina is an ancient instrument known among independent cultures in Asia and Mesoamerica for as long as 12,000 years ago. The portability of the hand-sized instrument made it popular from those early times to the present. They are provided through fair trade. Made in Peru.
