Dream Master: A Memoir follows rapper Raheem "Mega Ran" Jarbo's journey from his humble beginnings in Philadelphia to his college and teaching career, and then to his focus on video games and hip hop—a career shift that propelled him to stages around the world.

Mega Ran is a Penn State University graduate, former middle school teacher, and six-time Billboard-charting hip hop artist with over ten commercial releases and millions of YouTube views. He holds the 2018 Guinness World Record for the most songs to reference a single video game. Now based in Phoenix, Mega Ran is featured in MIM’s spring 2021 virtual Artist Residency, teaching students about the elements of hip hop through a high-energy performance in the MIM Music Theater.
