Joan Baez: The Absolutely Essential 3 CD Collection

Joan Baez: The Absolutely Essential 3 CD Collection includes her first three albums—two studio albums and her legendary first live album—recorded in 1960, 1961, and 1962. All three achieved gold record status. Many of the selections reflect Baez’s lifelong commitment to political and social activism. While considered mainly a folk musician, she embraced other genres including Americana, jazz, blues, and protest songs. Baez was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

Baez is included in the Woodstock exhibit in MIM’s Artist Gallery, where guests can see her famous 1929 Martin 0-45 acoustic guitar used at Woodstock and countless other performances.
