My First Opera will introduce young children to some of the world’s most loved operas. Each page has lively illustrations and a short description of a scene with accompanying music. Bizet’s Carmen, Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann, Verdi’s La Traviata, and Mozart’s The Magic Flute are included.
Retold by Elizabeth Pen and illustrated by Alenka Vuk Trotovsek. Each song is licensed from a world-famous orchestra and plays for 20 to 40 seconds. The crisp, clean sound comes from a well-placed speaker, and small fingers can easily activate the small sensors on each page.
Easy-turn pages have rounded corners to protect little ones. An on/off switch helps preserve the battery. ASTM inspected and certified. Includes two AAA batteries.
