Small Cedar A Minor Flute

Aaron White is a well-known Native American artist, singer, and songwriter. With his band Burning Sky, he pioneered a sound that garnered the group a Grammy Nomination in 2003 for Best Native American Album and won Group of the Year at the Native American Music Awards in 2004. In addition to his award-winning recordings, he makes flutes and lectures on their history. 

Born in Oakland California, White is of Northern Ute/Dine descent and currently lives in Arizona. He is included in MIM’s Arizona Instrument Makers exhibit, where one of his double flutes is displayed.
